Communications Manager

Athan Clark is a Communications Manager at the Georgia Public Policy Foundation with eight years of experience in media and communications.

After earning his B.A. in English from Christendom College in 2018, Athan worked as a communications intern at the Cato Institute and through the Heritage Foundation’s Young Leaders Program. He is an alumnus of the State Policy Network’s Generation Liberty Fellowship. Athan also speaks fluent Korean and has written on demographic issues in Korea.

Prior to joining the Foundation in 2023, Athan managed a communications team focusing on global population issues and worked as a videographer for an educational institution. He has produced hundreds of videos and his writing has been featured in The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, Marietta Daily Journal, Dalton Daily Citizen and many other newspapers throughout Georgia.

In his role, Athan regularly produces video content and appears onscreen to communicate with the Foundation’s audience. He also handles media relations, manages the Foundation’s social media and website, serves as editor of the Friday Facts, and writes articles to promote the mission of the organization.
