Deadline is TODAY to Register for Balanced Budget Amendment Event
Atlanta – And then there were three: Last week the Georgia House of Representatives passed three bills focused on reining in the federal government’s spending. If you’re tired of federal overspending, too, today is your last chance to sign up to attend Wednesday’s event and find out about the legislation aimed at a balanced budget amendment!
That’s because today is the deadline to register to attend the Georgia Public Policy Foundation’s Wednesday Leadership Breakfast, “The Case for the Compact for a Balanced Budget Amendment.” The 8 a.m. event at Cobb County’s Galleria Centre is keynoted by constitutional scholar Nick Dranias of the Goldwater Institute.

Dranias will discuss the non-partisan effort to promote and seek legislation by the states and the U.S. Congress to ratify a balanced budget amendment into the U.S. Constitution via Article V.
