U.S. Senate Votes to Oppose Freedom

By Bartlett D. Cleland  Our civil liberties suffered another loss this week when the Senate chose to duck surveillance reform by killing the USA Freedom Act. The legislation would have limited the data dragnet that is currently being used to harvest Americans’ personal information via spying laws.
