Video: Daniel Garza’s Foundation Dinner Keynote Address

By Mike Klein

Daniel Garza epitomizes what it means to take advantage of American exceptionalism and free market strategies.  His parents came to the United States from Mexico, worked and saved their money, invested in small businesses and achieved financial security.  As a child young Daniel worked alongside his brother Adam and his father picking crops as migrant laborers.  But fields were not where young Daniel would stay for long.

Garza’s impressive resume includes elected official, Congressional and White House staffer, broadcast executive and today, executive director of The LIBRE Initiative whose mission it is to educate Hispanics about extraordinary opportunities in America.  The Georgia Public Policy Foundation was proud to have Garza as the keynote speaker at our Annual Dinner on March 5, 2014.  This video begins with a profile of Garza, followed by his remarks to friends and supporters who helped us celebrate 23 years changing policy and lives for Georgians.
