Wall Street Journal’s Stephen Moore Keynotes Foundation Annual Dinner

Atlanta – Reserve your seat today for the Georgia Public Policy Foundation Annual Dinner on Wednesday evening, March 27th, at the Cobb Galleria Ballroom.

The keynote speaker is Stephen Moore of The Wall Street Journal, a national champion of free enterprise, limited government and personal responsibility. Moore joined The Wall Street Journal as a member of the editorial board and senior economics writer in 2005 and focuses on economic issues, including budget, tax and monetary policy.

Moore was the founder and former president of the Club for Growth, which raises money for political candidates who favor free-market economic policies. He left that position in 2004. Before joining The Journal, he was president of the Free Enterprise Fund.

Moore has served as a senior economist on the Congressional Joint Economic Committee, as a budget expert for the Heritage Foundation and as a senior economics fellow at the Cato Institute, where he published dozens of studies on federal and state tax and budget policy. He was a consultant to the National Economic Commission in l987, and research director for President Reagan’s Commission on Privatization.

He is the author of six books, most recently, “Who’s the Fairest of Them All? The Truth about Opportunity, Taxes, And Wealth in America.” A graduate of the University of Illinois, he holds a master’s in economics from George Mason University.

The Foundation event begins at 6:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception followed by the dinner and program at 7:30 p.m.
