Countdown to 4th Annual Ga. Legislative Policy Forum!

Atlanta – In just 10 days, the Georgia Public Policy Foundation and the Conservative Policy Leadership Institute will host the fourth annual Georgia Legislative Policy Forum, a daylong event on Friday, October 11 that will bring national and state policy experts to the Renaissance Atlanta Waverly Hotel to discuss free-market solutions to Georgia’s challenges.

The only forum of its kind in Georgia, the theme of the annual fall event is, “Wisdom, Justice and Innovation,” a step beyond the state motto of, “Wisdom, Justice, and Moderation.” Georgia House Majority Whip Edward Lindsey calls the event “the opening shot” to the legislative session; hundreds of legislators, businesspeople and interested citizens attend each year.

With a focus on the judiciary, Medicaid reform, economic opportunity and higher education this year, Forum experts include Georgia Supreme Court Justice David Nahmias; Fred Cooper, Chairman of Cooper Capital; Florida House Health Appropriations Chair Rep. Matt Hudson; Carol Steckel, director of the North Carolina Division of Medical Assistance; Tarren Bragdon, President of the Foundation for Government Accountability; former Georgia State Senator Sam Zamarripa; John Kramer, Vice President for Communications at the Institute for Justice, and Dr. Rich Demillo, director of the Center for 21st Century Universities at Georgia Tech.

Registration is $100 and includes a continental breakfast and lunch. For more information, the full agenda and to register, go to http://tinyurl.com/lma9kpt. (Difficulty registering? E-mail .)
